latex-mk software package provides tool for managing LaTeX projects, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install latex-mk
latex-mk is installed in your system.
Make ensure the latex-mk package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep latex-mk *
You will get with latex-mk package name, version, architecture and description in a table
